XML-based Documentation Development

Abstract: This session illustrates how the Technical Publications team at Borland uses a distributed XML architecture to produce product documentation regardless of platform or output display. Learn how the Tech Pubs team pulls valuable, XML-based information directly from the compiler, merges class information with external documentation files, and maintains source independence for multiple displays. This presentation also provides a brief overview of the emerging XML-based documentation landscape with implications for developer applications and third-party applications.
