Getting Started with StarTeam Enterprise Advantage

Abstract: StarTeam Enterprise Advantage provides the core of the Borland Application Lifecycle Management products by allowing you to create a fully customized development process. This session provides an in-depth introduction to the many features of StarTeam Enterprise Advantage including form customization using JBuilder, workflow definition, automatic notification and configuration of StarTeam Enterprise Advantage Web Edition. This session also covers the various points of integration between StarTeam and CaliberRM, JBuilder, and other Borland ALM products.

As one of the founders of Starbase, the company that created the StarTeam product family, Steve Reynolds served in many roles including product architect and vice president of Strategic Support. Steve designed and lead the development team that created StarTeam Elite, later renamed StarTeam Enterprise Advantage, a customizable workflow-enabled product designed to support large-scale enterprise software development. Steve has worked with many of the largest users of StarTeam including AIG, Manhattan Associates, CAE, and AG Communications.
